He is a graduate of Business Administration (BSc.) as well as Petroleum Economics in Oxford University. He assumed his current position in June 2009. Prior, Babatunde was the Managing Director of Archetype and Deputy managing Director of the group subsidiaries international Archetype Ltd.
In 1996, he started his career with Basse oil Ltd in Nigeria where he worked for 4 years. Whilst at Basse oil, he was responsible for providing specialised advisory services in the shipping and oil Trading and also worked on various joint venture deals between NNPC/PPMC and major international oil companies.
He has acted as an independent trading advisor to a range of private International and Nigeria oil companies on oil trading and oil market development within the West Africa sub region in particular, Nigeria, concentrating on the International oil trading markets for crude oil and petroleum products, preparing these companies for future integration into the competitive world oil markets.
He is a member of the institute of strategic Management of Nigeria, the Indigenous Ship Owners Association of Nigeria (ISAN) and the Chamber of shipping.
Prior to joining the company, he was the Managing Partner of Owolabi Hameed & Co (Chartered Accountants) and Allswell Consulting Services with focus on Bookkeeping and Accountancy, Tax Management, Financial and Business Advisory Services. He acquired demonstrated competencies in his focus areas through job engagements with establishments in Information Technology, Telecommunications support service, Trading, Real Estate, Oil & Gas (downstream), Maritime, Insurance and Logistics. In addition, he was involved in tax audits (Tax Monitoring Agency assignments) for Lagos, Ogun and Osun States' Internal Revenue Services.
Hameed worked in Sterling Bank, former Gateway Bank and Afribank for over 15 years. While in the banking industry, he served as Head of branch operations; Head of Credit Risk Management; Branch Manager and Head, Oil & Gas, Maritime unit of Corporate and Commercial banking. He left Sterling Bank in April 2009 as a Senior Manager. Hameed obtained professional memberships of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 1998 and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria in 2012 as an Associate Member of both institutions.
He had his post qualification accountancy training in the firms of Deinde Odusanya & Co (Chartered Accountants) and DON Associates (Tax Practitioners) from May 2009 to March 2011. He was authorized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in November 2011 to establish a professional accountancy practice. His academic qualification is Bachelor of Science in Fisheries Management (1990) .
He graduated in 1995 from the Nigerian Maritime Academy, Oron (Pre-Sea Trainning), Arab Maritime Academy, Alexandria, Egypt; (OOW UNLIMITED), ObafemiAwolowo University, Ile-Ife; (PGD Import/Export Management). He obtained his masters in 2011 at the Arab Maritime Academy, Alexandria, Egypt; (MASTER COC)
Before his appointment as the general manager of the company, he worked at the Nigerian National Shipping line, Apapa;(Deck Cadet – 2nd mate), Equity Shipping, Apapa (Master, Marine Superintendent), International Nautical Consultants (Master), Royal Elites Ltd, Apapa (Operations Manager), Tubal Caine Ship Management, Apapa (Master).
He is currently the General Manager of Archetype International Limited.
He graduated from Federal College of Fisheries & Marine Tech. Lagos, Nig where he obtained a Diploma in Marine Engineering; thereafter he went to Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore in where he obtained Class 1&2 Certificate of Competency in Maritime operations.
He has served as marine engineer officer onboard vessels of various capacities. He has obtained several other certificates ; certificate to serve as an officer at management level, (MPA Singapore), Proficiency In Survival Craft & Rescue Boat (SMA/MPA Singapore), Advance Fire Fighting (SMA Singapore), Advance Oil Tanker Safety Certificate ( SMA Singapore), Proficiency In Medical First Aid (SMA Singapore), Shipboard Training And Assessment (SMA Singapore), Personal Safety & Social Responsibility (RMA Ghana), Electronic & Pneumatic Control Engineering (Singapore polytechnic, Singapore). He joined Archetype Int’l Ltd in 2009
She is a seasoned accountant and an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants United Kingdom. .She served as an Accounts officer at Golden Securities Ltd in 2003 after graduation and thereafter an Audit Senior / Tax consultant with MBO Russell Bedford (Chartered Accountants) from 2003 to Feb 2007.
She joined Archetype Int’l Ltd in 2007 as Finance Manager, where she rose to the post of the Head of Finance.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from University of Nigeria, Nsukka in Enugu Sate, Nigeria in 2001. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology in 2015 from the National Open University of Nigeria. He served as a HSE Officer in Transocean Support Services Nigeria Limited in 2005; the position he held till the year 2012. Thereafter he joined Fredx Godson Associates in 2010 as the HSE Supervisor before he rose to the position of Health and Safety Manger in 2012 .Having joined the Company in 2005, Mr. Ibrahim has undergone some Safety and Environment certificate courses amongst; HSE LEVEL II &III,Competance in Standard First Aid and CPR, Int General Certificate in Occupationala health and Safety (NEBOSH) and Oil and Gas Safety and Health Supervisor (OSHAcademy, USA)
He joined Archetype Group in 2012 as the Health and Safety Manager.
